With this post, we would like to honor the end of the 69th Session of Student Senate at UW-Eau Claire and the 32 pieces of legislation that were passed within it!

Thank you to every student, commission member, Senator, Director, and Coordinator who used their voice this year to work toward the betterment of this body and of this university - we couldn't do it without you.

Most of all, thank you to our Student Body President Hevrin and Vice-President Cardille for their hard work and dedication to the 69th Session.

This Monday was our last General Assembly meeting of the school year.

After almost four hours of deliberations, we have completed our transition into the 70th Session with the appointment of our new executive board!

We are so excited to see what will come of this new session in the upcoming academic year, and we hope you are too!

With two resolutions passed, five oaths of office taken, and the resignations of most of the 69th Session Executive Board, Student Senate has officially moved from the 69th Session into the 70th!

Next Monday, Student Senate's transition into the 70th Session will be finalized following the presentations from and voting on the nominees for the Student Senate Executive Board of the 70th Session.

Last night, the Student Senators of our 69th Session were sworn out. We appreciate each and every senator who used their voice and advocated for change for the students at this university throughout this session.

In preparation for the switch from Student Senate's 69th to 70th Session, which will occur next Monday evening, each of the Student Senators elected by the student body last week have now taken their oaths of office and been sworn into office!

Applications are now open for director and coordinator roles within Student Senate! Any student is able and encouraged to apply for any position that interests them.
