Pool Day 2026
Hi ho, hi ho, it’s to the pool we go!

The weather could not have been more perfect for a day of outdoor learning and adventure. We are so thankful to everyone at the David R Obey Ice Age Interpretive Center for sharing their time and expertise with us!

Once again, the weather may be cool for our Ice Age Trail field trip tomorrow. Make sure your kiddos are dressed in layers. We’ll be outside most of the day and it is quite windy on top of the hill where we will be. At least it will be dry - thank goodness!
We depart early, at 8:05, so don’t be late or you’ll miss it.

🧊🔍 Our 4th graders were officially trapped in the Ice Age today… and they had to think their way out!
Students worked together to crack codes, solve clues, decode ancient mysteries, and survive mammoths, glaciers, and prehistoric challenges in our Ice Age Escape Room. 🦣❄️🗝️
There was teamwork, problem-solving, a little friendly panic, and LOTS of cheering when groups finally escaped before time ran out. Safe to say these Ice Age experts would have survived the Pleistocene Era just fine!

The Ice Age Alliance is a nonprofit organization that helps build, protect, maintain, and promote the Ice Age National Scenic Trail - a more than 1,000 mile hiking trail that follows the edge of the last glacier across Wisconsin.
Today a volunteer Zoomed with our classes to teach us about our glacial history and conservation.
Hundreds of people donate thousands of hours every year to maintain the trails and offer educational programs for schools and youth groups.
We will visit the David R Obey Ice Age Interpretive Center in New Auburn on Wednesday!
