Women in Business is an annual event that Pi Sigma Epsilon has hosted for the past four years. The event brings together female leaders from a variety of industries to share their experiences, insights, and career journeys with attendees. It was created to provide a space that amplifies women’s voices, perspectives, and experiences in today’s business world. Through a panel and open discussion, attendees gain valuable insight into navigating the challenges and opportunities of being a female leader.
This year, we had four panelists, including two UWEC PSE alumni. Our speakers were: Kristina Wilke, Danielle Ebeling, Lauren Bolopue, and Angela McArthur. They came from a range of backgrounds, from technical roles to medical education.

Last week, the College of Business was proud to present at the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce Annual Community Breakfast. Our segment within the presentation featured our students and faculty discussing their work with ISABEL (Teaching Asst. Prof. Evan Sveum & Mason Hughes), Second Nature AI (Lenita Davis, PhD & Tyler Dorner), and Bloomberg Terminals (Brad Dobson, CFA,MBA & James Maier). Chamber of Commerce members and the audience were also invited to try out the technologies, with our College of Business students helping with the demos.
