💙💛 How old do you have to be to leave a legacy?

Sarah Tweedale is proving there's no age requirement.

As UW-Eau Claire's youngest alum to include the university in her estate plans, Sarah is helping ensure future students have access to the same opportunities that helped shape her own Blugold experience.

"I was fortunate to benefit from donor support through scholarships, programs, and other opportunities while I was a student," Sarah says. "Those experiences gave me a real 'Blugold boost' and helped shape my career. It's important to me to pay that forward and support current and future generations of students."

During Make-A-Will Month, Sarah's story is a reminder that giving back isn't about age. It's about making a plan for the people and places that matter most.

Whether you're just starting your career, raising a family, or enjoying retirement, your legacy can begin today.

Thank you, Sarah, for helping keep the Blugold experience special for generations to come. 💙💛

Last night, alumni gathered at Lakefront Brewery to reconnect with fellow Blugolds and welcome UW-Eau Claire's new Chancellor, Ed Martini.

Special thanks to Alum Russ Klisch '81, Lakefront Brewery co-founder and owner, for hosting and sharing a behind-the-scenes look at one of Milwaukee's iconic breweries.

Did you know UW-Eau Claire students contributed to an Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning documentary?

"Simon Schama: The Holocaust, 80 Years On" was partially inspired by research connected to UW-Eau Claire's Holocaust Mapping Program, led by Dr. Harry Jol and Martin Goettl.

Using geospatial technology and ground-penetrating radar, UW-Eau Claire students conducted research at several Holocaust sites featured in the film, helping preserve history and advance international scholarship.
