Eau Claire North DECA

On December 17th, Eau Claire North DECA hosted over 200 area K-3rd graders for a sports camp benefitting Feed My People organized by Chapter Officers Bella Olson and Jayda Nesvacil.

Students had a great time rotating through stations learning and playing various sports. North student volunteers did an excellent job helping run a smooth camp for the enjoyment of countless individuals.

All in all, we were able to donate $1,000 to Feed My People Food Bank to help combat food insecurity in our community. Great job to everyone involved!

Introducing the 2022-2023 ECN DECA Officer Team!!!

We are looking forward to a great year of growing as leaders, finding competitive success, and impacting our community.

Our first trip to ICDC was a blast! Ava & Ellie crushed their presentation and had a blast meeting new friends from around the country.

The opening ceremony and awards sessions were at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which was filled with almost 20,000 DECA students from around the world. We went to the Hawks-Heat playoff basketball game, ate at some great restaurants, and explored Atlanta.

Mr. Horn was mistaken for a student about 72 times, a new single-week record for him.

Mr. Horn is very proud of Ava and Ellie for all of their hard work to earn this opportunity. Their leadership, communication skills, creativity, passion and confidence are just some of the reasons why they found success, and will continue to find success in their futures. Ava and Ellie are certainly great representatives for the Huskies.

As this year’s DECA competition season comes to an end, we look forward to next year, where we hope to have even more students enjoy the great experiences at SCDC and ICDC.

Finally got our pictures developed from our State DECA Competition back in February! Congratulations to the eight competitors who developed leadership skills, met new friends, and excelled in competition. Big congrats to Ava and Ellie, who had their project qualify for the International Conference in Atlanta. Which btw… we are at now. ICDC pics to come.
