Here Sunny Strings students practice developing a relaxed, tension free bow hold 💛🎻🎶 It’s so easy to squeeze with the thumb! As string players we must constantly remind ourselves and our students to release unnecessary tension in the thumb to balance the bow well when playing.

At String Academy we focus diligently on teaching proper form. Learning a solid foundation in form and basics—especially in the first year of studies—leads to playing with ease and a beautiful tone, and the ability to enjoy learning advanced repertoire in the future!
