The Lasallian Association of Youth and Family Services brings together the DENA ministries that care for young people and families facing the greatest need, sharing formation, training, and practice across residential care, education, and family support.

From October 1 to 3, staff from these ministries gather at Martin de Porres School in Elmont, New York for the Lasallian Leadership Development Program 2026.

As part of the International Lasallian Days for Peace 2026, the District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta (IGBM) and the Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) will host an online gathering on September 30 at 10:30 AM ET.

The District of Eastern North America will be represented on the call, joining Lasallians from IGBM in reflecting on this year's theme, "Peace by Piece: Building a Fraternal World."

ILDP runs through October 21, inviting the global Lasallian Family to build peace through small, everyday actions.

On Wednesday 30 September, La Salle IGBM and the Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) will host a Zoom call as part of the International Lasallian Days for Peace.

Young people and Animators will pray in solidarity with Lasallians around the world, and hear from Br. Chris Patiño, FSC, General Councillor, Joseph Gilson, Director of Mission, and Br. Mark McKeon, FSC, of Bethlehem University.

As our Plenary Assembly continues, our attention is turning toward what comes next. With perspectives and experiences from across the Institute, we’re exploring ways to strengthen our communities, support the formation and vocation of the Brother, and identify concrete steps we can take in our Districts and together as an Institute.

Greetings from Rome! 🇮🇹

This week, I’m joining Brother Visitors and Brothers from across the Institute for the 2026 Plenary Assembly. We began our gathering with an invitation to listen, to one another, to the realities of our communities, and to what God may be asking of us today.

Stay tuned as I share more from our experiences throughout the week!
