For more than 30 years, the Sole Momentum Cloggers (formerly Toe Jam Time) have proudly closed our shows with one very special song: “High and Mighty” by the amazing Dolly Parton. 💛
Through the years, this song has united generations of cloggers, not only within our ever growing clogging family, but throughout the Southeast. There’s something especially meaningful about that connection: clogging, the official folk dance of the United States, and Dolly’s music both have deep roots in the Appalachian region.
For more than three decades, we’ve danced to Dolly’s music, passed it down from one generation to the next, and made countless memories along the way.
Dolly, we will always love you. 😘
Please enjoy this tribute to the matriarch of Appalachian music and a true legend whose music has brought so many of us together.
