This month at Saltamacchio's Tang Soo Do Karate, we are studying Teamwork. A team is any group of people that works together with a shared goal. We work together towards many goals: like being able to protect ourselves and accomplishing certain skill levels.

We'll help students better understand that "Team" applies to more than just "Sports". The main "Team" we'll be discussing this month is "FAMILY". As stated above a team is any group of people that work together with a shared goal. What better example than how a family works together with everyone in the family having their own specific responsibilities as part of the Team.

This month at Saltamacchio Karate, we are studying ethics. Ethics can be confusing because it is not just one thing. The easiest way to think of ethics is as your set of values, and how you act on those values! Our students will be evaluating the levels of respect, honesty, kindness, self-confidence, and bravery in their lives.

Knowledge is important. But being creative is what allows us to do wonderfule new things! This month at Saltamacchio Karate, we have been teaching our students that using our imagination to turn dreams into reality is within their control.
