Putnam County Extension & 4-H is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our office.

This position is often the first point of contact for community members who visit, call, or reach out to our office. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and supporting programs that serve Putnam County youth, families, farmers, and community members.

The Administrative Assistant plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of our office by assisting clients, maintaining records, supporting financial and administrative processes, and helping Extension and 4-H programs run smoothly.

We're looking for someone who is:
✔ Friendly and customer-service oriented
✔ Organized and detail-oriented
✔ Comfortable with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Canva
✔ Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
✔ A strong team player

📍 Location: Putnam County Extension Office
🕗 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
💼 Full-Time, Benefits Eligible

Do you have a 4-H’er who loves to sing, dance, act, play an instrument, or work behind the scenes? Clovers & Company might be the perfect fit!

Who Can Audition:
4-H members currently in 4th–11th grade

Auditions (in-person):
May 23 – Fortson 4-H Center
May 30 – Houston County Extension Office
June 5 – Rock Eagle 4-H Center

🎤 All youth (new and returning) must audition, and auditions are in-person only.

This is an incredible opportunity to build confidence, develop talents, and be part of a statewide performing arts group!

🔧 In 4-H, learning isn’t just something you hear...it’s something you DO.

Our Engineering Club challenges youth to design, build, and problem-solve using creativity and teamwork.

This year, youth have taken on projects like:

• Marshmallow & Noodle Trees (Elf Challenge)
• Simple Machine Playground Equipment
