🌟 4-H Grows Dreams Into Reality 🌟

Every passion starts with a spark of curiosity. Through 4-H, young people have the opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills, and gain hands-on experiences that can shape their future careers. Whether it's agriculture, science, technology, leadership, animals, or the arts, 4-H helps youth discover what excites them and gives them the confidence to pursue it.

The projects, mentorship, and real-world experiences gained in 4-H do more than build knowledge. They help turn dreams into plans and interests into careers. Today's 4-H member could be tomorrow's veterinarian, engineer, teacher, entrepreneur, scientist, or community leader.

Come out for a "super" good time!

🎃🍬 TRACK ’N TREAT IS ALMOST HERE! 🍬🎃
Looking for another chance to put those Halloween costumes to good use? Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities is inviting the community to its Track ’N Treat event this Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4:30-7 p.m. at its ASK Playground, 1239 N. Maple St. in Eaton!
This year’s theme is SUPERHEROES! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Get dressed for the occasion and enjoy an evening of Halloween fun with Preble DD.

Today Preble County 4-H has lost one of its own. It is with great sadness we share the loss of Vicki Oliver. Her 30 year commitment to S**c N Span Pots N Pans offered children of all ages the chance to learn about cooking, sewing and further life skills. While we celebrate her life, let's remember her by sharing a story of her impact! We want to hear from you how Vickie made a difference in you or your childs life in her memory.

Join us Sunday, October 11th at 2 pm for this unique presentation and field tour led by Marne Titchenell, Wildlife Program Director at Ohio State University Extension, and discover how to make your landscape more friendly to songbirds, bats, flying squirrels, amphibians, reptiles, and a host of other wildlife. We’ll discuss the specific benefits of managing diverse habitats, such as woodlands of varying ages and structures, wetlands, riparian areas, fence rows, and odd areas, and proven ways we can help wildlife, such as erecting nesting structures and establishing food sources. Information and advice will benefit managers of properties both large and small. This program is generously hosted by Quail Ridge Conservation Area at 1708 Camden College Corner Road in Camden. All are welcome to enjoy this free program and make connections with local land stewards and nature enthusiasts of the alike, and learn more about the Southwest Ohio Woodland Association.
