Sacred Heart Academy Full-Time and Part-Time School Operating in the Catholic Tradition Welcome to In His Sacred Heart School!

We are a School for K-5 operating in the Catholic Tradition, currently enrolling K – 5 for School Year 2016/17. We are currently a Part-Time school for K-5, adding a Full-Time Half-Day option for K-3, in addition to enrolling Grade 6 for School Year 2017/18. We also offer a Catholic Preschool Program for Ages 3.5 – 5 years old. We offer an academic and faith program for children that combines the

benefits of homeschooling (family-centered life, parental involvement and mentorship, and the academic benefits of individualized learning and tutoring), along with the benefits of a healthy social experience (shared prayer and spiritual experiences with other children, creative and hands-on learning from a gifted teacher, and the development of wholesome friendships and respect for teachers), all in a loving and Catholic environment.

Good afternoon families!

Here is the e-mail that was sent out on Friday, March 13:

Dear Families!

Numerous school districts are announcing closures for the next two weeks, among them our local school districts. Based on this, and the Archdiocese of Denver is recommending that Catholic Schools take similar measures to the school districts they are in (https://www.archden.org/coronavirus/), Sacred Heart Academy and Sacred Footsteps will CLOSE beginning Monday, March 16th through the end of Spring Break, March 29th. We will plan to email everyone with updates following legal and Archdiocese recommendations in the interim to set a plan for after Spring Break.

SHA may have at-home class-work/recommendations for you beginning this Tuesday, but we will get this information to you after a 9am phone call we have with SHA teachers on Monday to discuss feasibility/best strategies for this next school week.
