Good Afternoon Preschool Families,

It’s hard to believe we are in the final weeks of the school year! There are so many fun and exciting things happening here at the preschool right now, and the classrooms are full of energy, learning, and lots of smiles as we wrap up the year together.

We are especially looking forward to celebrating with all of you at our End of Year BBQ on May 19th—it’s always such a special time to come together as a school community and celebrate a wonderful year!

For those families who will be returning in August, you can still expect to receive our monthly preschool newsletters throughout the summer. We love staying connected and sharing updates, ideas, and information with you even while school is out.

FREE Developmental Screenings at EELC!

Eaton Early Learning Center is excited to offer FREE developmental screenings for children ages 2½ to 5!

Come explore what makes our preschool special—learn about program options, get a glimpse into a typical classroom day, and connect with our team to ask questions about your child’s development and early learning journey.

During your visit, your child will participate in a play-based developmental screening with one of our knowledgeable teachers—providing meaningful insight into their growth in a warm, supportive environment.

We are thrilled to share that, in partnership with Eaton School District, Eaton Early Learning Center is hoping to bring preschool programming back to Galeton Elementary starting this fall—for both 3 and 4-year-olds!

Families may have access to FREE preschool through Colorado’s Universal Preschool (UPK) program, with potential half-day morning and full-day options available (based on eligibility). In addition, we will offer tuition-based programs, including both full-day and half-day morning options, to meet the needs of every family.

Dear Preschool Families,

We are excited to share that Physical Education (PE) will be returning to Eaton Early Learning Center through the Amazing Athletes program! With the weather slowly warming up, we are looking forward to bringing this fun and active opportunity back for our students.

PE sessions will be held during our regular recess times and will begin the week of March 30th and run through the week of May 4th. These structured activities are designed specifically for young children and help support important developmental skills such as gross motor development, coordination, balance, strength, and confidence.

The cost for PE is $30 per student for the semester.

We are excited to watch the children move, play, and build new skills while having lots of fun!
