This week they will be participating in daily trainings on new curriculum, designing our classrooms to fit the needs of students, and being intentional in our teaching. It’s an exciting week getting our classrooms and the building ready to welcome our students and their families.

See you Tuesday!

Hello EELC Families,

We hope you have been enjoying a wonderful summer filled with fun, relaxation, and special family memories!

The start of the school year is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited! Beginning next week, our teachers and staff will be back in the building preparing for an amazing year ahead. They’ll be busy setting up classrooms, participating in professional development and trainings, collaborating as a team, and making sure everything is ready to welcome our students and families.

We are truly looking forward to another year of learning, laughter, discovery, and growth with your children!

We can’t wait to see everyone at our Open House on Thursday, August 13. Open House is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, explore the classroom, drop off school supplies, and help your child become familiar with their new learning environment before the first day of school.

Attached to this email is our August Newsletter, which includes:

📅 Important upcoming dates and reminders
🎒 The school supply list
💛 Tips for easing first-day jitters and creating a smooth drop-off routine
✏️ Additional information to help your family prepare for a successful start to the school year
We encourage you to take a few minutes to read through the newsletter, as it contains helpful information to make the transition back to school as smooth as possible.

Thank you for choosing Eaton Early Learning Center to be part of your child’s early learning journey. We are honored to partner with your family and can’t wait to welcome everyone back very soon!

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer, and we’ll see you at Open House on August 13!

Hello Galeton Preschool Families,

We hope you and your family are having a wonderful summer!

We are so excited to welcome you to our Galeton Preschool class and wanted to share a few updates as we continue preparing for an exciting school year ahead.

Attached to this email is our July Newsletter, which includes helpful information about school supplies, upcoming events, and current happenings at Eaton Early Learning Center.

Behind the scenes, our team has been working hard to prepare the preschool classroom at Galeton Elementary School and complete the licensing process through the State of Colorado. We are excited to share that everything is moving forward, and our intended first day of school is Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

We have officially designated a teacher for the Galeton classroom and are currently finalizing additional beginning-of-the-year details, including Open House and an opportunity for your child to meet with their teacher for a short screening before school begins. We know many of you are eager for these dates, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work through each step. We will continue to keep families updated as more information becomes available.

Thank you to those families who have already completed the Colorado UPK registration and selected the Eaton location. For families who are still waiting for confirmation or placement through the UPK system, please know that we are actively working with the State of Colorado to help move the process forward as quickly as possible.

If you have any questions about your child’s registration or enrollment status, please don’t hesitate to reply to this email or give our office a call at 970-454-9400. We are always happy to help.

We are also continuing to enroll children in the Galeton Preschool classroom. If you know of a family who may be interested in preschool for their child in the Galeton area, we would be grateful if you shared our information with them!

Thank you again for your patience, encouragement, and excitement throughout this journey. We cannot express enough how thrilled we are to bring preschool back to Galeton and look forward to welcoming your family this August!
