I've said so many tough goodbyes to children and staff in my 33 years at EDC, and I know these next two days will be difficult for me as this time I am the one walking away! So thankful for our new owner Micki Sittloh who will keep EDC going strong for all our current staff and families! If you're in the neighborhood after 3:30 Monday, stop by to say "hello/goodbye"!

Family members are encouraged to tour our Fall Art Gallery with their child this month! It is displayed by age groups in the room next to the office.

If you know anyone using Ge**er Good Start Gentle Milk Based Formula, we received some cans of a Formula similar to that, based on information from WIC, that we have no use for among our current infants, and it expires late October. The brand is pictured below. Birthright brought it to us and they said the food bank wasn't interested. 6 large cans available, so let me know if you know someone who can use it!

Can't believe that tomorrow is the last day of summer vacation for our Eaton kids in 1st grade and up! They've had such a fun summer together. Thanks to Ms. Stef for planning a variety of fun activities, and for Ms. Brittnee and Ms. Bailey for helping her! Praying it's a great school year for each of "our" kids!

Our annual August carnival was campground themed this year with tent bowling, fishing, a duck pond, Scare the Bear wet sponge toss, and yard games like giant Jenga, Connect 4, and Yahtzee, among other carnival games. Thanks to Brittnee and Mr. C for providing and helping set up the games. Miss Molly provided a mini version with water play for the Toddlers!A fun time was had by all! Thanks to Bailey, Brittnee, and Molly for getting pictures while I was busy keeping the Bear from falling over!🙃

The PreK class enjoyed their own Fair activities in class last week: building a pen for their chosen farm animal, creating art projects to display, then participating in judging. They were kind and encouraging judges, including awarding special ribbons to their teachers Grace Witt and Myla Halcomb! (I will highlight some other classes as their teachers share some photos with me! There are lots of fun things happening!)
