TONIGHT: Founder and CEO of Protect Young Eyes, Chris McKenna, will be teaching parents and families about the impacts of technology on our children’s mental heath this evening! Doors open at 5:30pm and we ask all families attending to enter through the north doors of Eaton High School.

As we wrap up our first week of the 2026–2027 school year, we want to take a moment to welcome our students, families, and staff to another great year at Eaton School District! Eaton Reds from the Classes of 2027 through 2033 returned to school today, greeted by laughter, hugs, and huge smiles from their friends and staff alike. It is a remarkable day filled with joy, anticipation, and wonder.

So many great things are planned for this year, from athletics, arts, assemblies, CTE, clubs, dances, field trips, parades, and classroom projects to scratch the surface.

We have the most engaged students in the state, made possible by the tremendous support and involvement of their parents and families.

We are proud of our Eaton Reds and excited for an awesome year ahead! Go Reds!

Come cheer on our Eaton Reds girls’ softball team as they launch another great season on Tuesday, August 18—and enjoy a FREE hot dog while you’re there!

This team is loaded with talented, hardworking, and highly skilled young women who represent Eaton Excellence both in the classroom and on the softball field. They are a special group!

Leading the way are our four amazing seniors: Bria Foster, Johanna Galvan, Savannah Johnson, and Izzy Ramsey. Savannah is a new transfer to Eaton, so we don’t have an action photo of her yet, but we’re excited to welcome her to the Eaton Family!

Come out, grab a hot dog, cheer on these outstanding student-athletes, and show your Eaton Pride!

Founder and CEO of Protect Young Eyes, Chris McKenna will be the speaker for our upcoming conversation and training on mental health and technology on Wednesday, August 26, from 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm. Chris will discuss the science behind the developing adolescent brain, why today's technology is so captivating, and practical solutions for creating healthier digital habits that support children's emotional well-being.
