It is hard to believe that summer break is winding down!

We look forward to greeting familiar and new faces at the school open house this Wednesday, August 26th, 5-7pm. Flyers for the PTO will be available with the calendar for the year of PTO events that are planned, PTO sponsored fundraisers for our upper grade class trips, fall and spring events, and projects to support our school. Information went home this week on exciting news that the PTO Free Bookshelves will be accessible this summer during ICA office hours! We’ve been working to get all the books we’ve had donated visible this week if students would like to choose a couple before the end of the week, but it will also be accessible this summer!

Would you like to enjoy a delicious dinner out AND raise funds at the same time? Come out and join ICA PTO on Wednesday, May 13th between 4:00 and 9:00 pm at the Applebee's in Charlotte!

You can participate by dining in or take out at Charlotte Applebee's on 5/13, 4-9pm:
When purchasing your meal, mention your group’s name to receive 20% of your meal’s price donated back to Island City Academy PTO.

This is the PTO's last fundraiser for this school year, we want to deeply thank you all for your support in helping ICA PTO raise funds for family events, staff appreciation, and special projects like the volleyball court on the playground and the free bookshelves for students! ❤️

Let’s rock and roll! Come and join us tonight 6-8 for the Rock and Roll Sock Hop. The decoration volunteers have the gym nearly all set up for a night of fun and dancing!

Tunes by DJ Jimmy Jams, favors (fuzzy dice or sunglasses), sliders, snacks, desserts, and punch provided!

$10/person at the door if you did not send in an RSVP form.
