Last day of our watercolor retreat, also called Paintout! I learned so much and met so many awesome people artists. Here are a few of my final pictures after taking lessons from Denise, an acrylic and oil painter. Her two demo pictures are the third and fourth pictures.

Enjoying my newly discovered medium. Scratch board is an art that has been around for years, but has been hidden in the fray of new materials.
The scratch board is fiber board with a coating of clay and black ink.

Artfully Ann's will open her tent at the Orcas Island Farmer's Market starting on June 5th. Many things are being created and added as the summer goes on. The market schedule for Artfully Ann's is June 5 & 19, July 3, 17 & 31, August 7th and September 4th & 11th. Hope to see you when you visit this summer.

The Orcas Island Farmers Market starts this weekend. Although I will not be there selling my art until the 5th of June I can’t wait to visit and support my friends and other artists on Orcas Island. Should be loads of fun!!!

Starting to get back into my art. Still not completely unpacked, but I am having fun drawing with pencil, pastel and charcoal. I still have lots to learn. Practice makes perfect!

Ann has moved to Orcas Island. What an adventure. She is currently nesting in her new home, but should have some new art available in the near future. Have a wonderful holiday.
