An amazing experience for our 6th graders and SWSD Staffulty! It was simply a treat to be there this week!

#10 Orca Whales on Day 1 to greet us

#9 Hiking an average of 5-10 miles a day

#8 Students who’s feet hurt, stomach hurt, head hurt, missed home, did not like the food but that were so SAD to leave camp and said they did want to go back when they are in high school!

#7 New friends from other schools

#5 Climbing Tower - 20 students made it to the top and earned a milkshake.

#4 ZIPLINE - our studentsts overcame their fears and braved the climb to be rewarded for their courage!

#3 SWSD - Staffulty took care of our students in everyway. The teachers, counselors, paras, nurses, watchdogs, and admin showed up for our students in a very big way thank you for all your time commitment and lack of sleep!😴

#2 Director Brie Lopez - words do not describe the care, passion, patience, direction enough for what this AMAZING HUMAN leading this adventure! We appreciate you BRIE🙌

#1 SWHS Counselors…..They RoCKed It!

My favorite was watching the students bonding with their counselors. Also, the way the counselors encouraged the 6th graders who were wary for the activities.

I also want to add a huge kudos 👏 to the highschool counselors with the first group to the grass area of the ferry today. They entertained the sixth graders with magic tricks, journal writing, games, etc. The kids were so entertained i heard a few say what we've been here an hour!! They made that hour fun even though I know they were tired!! Great group of highschool counselors.

I'd have to add the skits from last night as well. Those were amazing. The high school counselors stole the show!

It's almost time for our campers to arrive at Cascade Middle School!. Families: don't forget to grab their bag and any medications from Nurse Courtney or Nurse Missy!
