20/20 T-Shirts (are actually short sleeve)

Hello Orcas Island Rowing fans -

Start the new year with a PLUNGE!

The Orcas Island Rowing team will host its annual Polar Bear Plunge on January 1st at 11 a.m. sharp! This is a low-key 'FUN-raising' event to help defray the costs for the crew team. It will be held at the picnic shelter at Cascade Lake. Snacks, warm drinks and t-shirts will be on hand. This year’s theme is Frozen Focus 20/20

If you wish to pre-order your T-shirts (please note: they are actually short-sleeve NOT long-sleeve), please contact Tina Brown directly :-) Cost is $25 to OIRA

Orcas Island Rowing is a 501(c)3 non-profit. The coaching staff is completely voluntary. All proceeds go to help the team.

Ho-Ho-Ho-Row-Row-Row!

Please share! The Orcas Island Rowing Club team will be rowing on ERG machines non-stop for 24 hours this Friday/Saturday in front of Orcas Island Market to raise money for a new boat motor, equipment repair, and regatta entrance fees so that they can continue to represent and row for our island! So, stop by and say "hi" (yes, at 3am too!) to our team and all-volunteer coaching staff and cheer them on!

Practice + Prep: Orcas Island Rowing Club 05/01/2019

What a dedicated bunch of volunteer coaches, parents, kids, and grandparents who make up the Orcas Island Rowing Club Crew Program. Kids and coaches get to the lake at 6a and run through the dark with headlamps on, and train (even when it rains or snows) so hard some of the kids are crying on the ERGs and on the lake. And, part of leading up to the season was helping Moran State Park clear debris and repair rooftops damaged in the storm. Remember that when you see them fundraising!
