Overnight Price Action Can Tell You Where the Market Is Going.
Most traders wait for the regular trading session to begin before they start looking for clues.
But some of the most important information may already be on the chart.
In this video, I show why I pay close attention to overnight price action and how overnight highs, lows, support, resistance, and price behavior can provide valuable clues about where the market may trade during regular trading hours.
I also demonstrate how I use the Taylor Trading Zone to put that overnight movement into context and identify areas where price may react during the following session.
And you'll get a first look at the newly updated Taylor Trading Calculator.
The new version is now fully automated:
• No Microsoft Excel required
• No dates to enter
• No daily OHLC prices to enter
• The next Taylor Trading Zone is calculated automatically
The goal isn't to predict every market move. It's to go into the trading day with a roadmap—and to understand the information the market may already be giving you before the opening bell.
If you're a futures trader, start paying attention to what happens overnight. You may be surprised how often the regular session respects levels and price action established while most traders weren't watching.
