๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŽ‚Happiest of Birthdays to our one and only Mari โ€” whose love for perfumes and yapping is only matched by the joy she brings to everyone around her!!! When sheโ€™s not bullying you into taking pictures and videos for socials, sheโ€™s making rounds to see whose badge money she can โ€œborrowโ€ for her next coffee. She has a way of making every day a little lighter. Her infectious laugh, exuberance, and kind heart make everyone feel welcome from the moment they meet her. The halls smell better, the conversations are funnier, and the days are a whole lot more fun because youโ€™re in them! Wishing you the happiest birthday and another amazing year ahead! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿค

๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŽ‚Happiest of Birthdays to our now IM Categorical, formerly Transitional Year, PGY-1/2 Dr. Segarra โ€” more frequently known as Mr. Bow Tie, Mr. Worldwide, and the unofficial ruler of every hallway he walks down. Whether heโ€™s rocking a bow tie on Friday rounds or charming the entire floor (nurses, patients, and attendings included) with that signature Dominican flair, he brings laughter, kindness, and empathy wherever he goes. Hereโ€™s to another year of great style, great vibes, and even better bedside manner. ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿ‘”

One milestone after another โ€” unstoppable and inspiring โœจ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Our very own PGY-2 resident, Dr. Priyanka Dave ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ๐Ÿฉบ, future rheumatologist ๐ŸŒŸ, proudly presented her systematic literature review at the 12th Annual Mayo Clinic Rheumatology Review for Primary Care ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ‘

Her research explored hospital outcomes in male patients with atypical dermatomyositis presentations lacking classic rash features, highlighting the critical role of muscle biopsy ๐Ÿ”ฌ in diagnosis and the need for escalated immunosuppressive therapy ๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿงฌ

Representing curiosity, dedication, and the future of rheumatology ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿš€ โ€” congratulations, Dr. Dave! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘โœจ

Thyme well spent ๐ŸŒฟ We gathered with some of the brightest minds in lifestyle medicine๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŒพ and integrative health โš•๏ธ โ€” fueled by the most delicious plant-based spread from the Kellyn Foundation.

Thank you to Dr. Megan Grega and Kellyn Foundation for hosting it yearly and allowing all residents to participate. We had FM and IM residents attend as well as medical students ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿฅน

Thanks to GME for allowing us to attend for free. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

Chef Amanda and Kellyn Foundation absolutely stole the show. Consider us inspired (and very full). ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿฅ—๐Ÿ‹
