WHY AN ACADEMIC/ENRICHMENT SUMMER PROGRAM?
DID YOU KNOW THAT…
1.)Studies have shown that when students are given learning opportunities during summer months, their academic outcomes show improvement and lead to higher graduation rates, better preparation for college, increased self esteem, motivation and confidence going into the next school year.

2.)Research has proven that all young people experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer.

3.)During Summer, most students loose approximately two months of grade level equivalency in Mathematical computational skills.

4.)About two-thirds of the ninth grade achievement gap between youth can be explained by unequal access to Summer learning opportunities.

Our Bridge The Gap Summer program uses grade level and subject specific classes taught by State Certified Educators to provide reinforcement of the concepts and skills taught in the previous grade and preparation for the concepts students will face in the upcoming school year.

Classes meet Monday – Thursday for One Hour per day.

We have decided to move the Boisterous Beginners class scheduled for tomorrow (2/20) to Friday (2/22) from 9:45am to 10:30am.
