Stonehill College Dance Club
The largest club on campus! The Stonehill College Dance Club is the largest club on campus with about 80 members. Happy dancing!
We offer classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, modern/contemporary, pointe, and lyrical. Classes are $35 each for the entirety of the semester, and we hold recitals at the end of each semester. All Stonehill students are welcome to join regardless of past dance experience. This page is to unite our members and keep up-to-date with club happenings.

Tickets will be on sale in the Lower Commons til 6:00 tonight! Make sure you get a ticket before it’s too late! Our show is this Sunday in Hemingway Theatre at 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Hope to see you there!!

Last but certainly not least, it’s time to introduce a new teacher! Let’s welcome Michal, our new Modern teacher! 🤩 Read below to find out more about her!
Michal is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico where she began dancing at age two. Throughout her childhood, she trained in multiple styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern and even Flamenco. Michal began teaching at age 19, where her love for dance has been shared with students of all ages and dance abilities. Michal currently teaches at Terri’s School of Dance in Abington, running the school’s dance team and cabaret company.
Michal is overjoyed to join Stonehill Dance Club in the fall and is excited to continue to share her passion with others!
We are so excited to have you part of our family and can’t wait for an amazing year with you! 💜
Next up, let’s welcome the best Tap teacher out there, Terri! 🤩 Read below to learn more about her!
Terri Trunfio is pleased to be on the Stonehill College Dance Club faculty as the tap instructor, a position she began when assisting her mother, Nancy Bradford Lonero, more than twenty years ago. Terri also directs the Nancy Bradford Studio (est. 1946) in Abington, MA, teaching all genres of the performing arts to children and adults for over forty-five years. Terri’s professional dance affiliations include long time membership in the Dance Masters of America organization as well as being a Life Member of the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston, Inc. where she has held many Board of Director positions, to include DTCB President, and currently serves as Treasurer.
We are so excited for another amazing year of shuffling with you! 💜
T-4 days until move-in, which means another teacher highlight!! Today we’re highlighting our amazing lyrical teacher, Cathy! 🤩 Read below to find out more about her!
Cathy Bosch graduated with a BFA in Dance, cm laude, from the University of Iowa. She has toured the U.S. and abroad with Nai-Ni Chen, ISO Dance Theater and Mummenschanz as part of the Big Apple Circus. Her choreography has also been commissioned by the Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop in Colorado. From 1997 to 2010 she choreographed, directed and danced for Boston's Snappy Dance Theater, and from 2000 to the present Cathy has been teaching and choreographing for the Stonehill College Dance Club.
We are looking forward to a great year of dancing with you! 💜
Next up, we are so excited to introduce a new (sorta 😉) member to our Dance Club family! Let’s welcome, Michaela, who is a Stonehill alum! 🤩 Read below to find out more about her!
Michaela began her dance education at the age of 2 and instantly fell in love with the art. She grew up in the competitive dance world and continued her training at Stonehill where she was involved in both Dance Club and Dance Company! While still at Stonehill she began teaching at various studios in the Boston area and continues to do so today. On the weekends she serves as a dance competition adjudicator and master teacher, traveling across the country to share her love of dance. She is so excited to return to Stonehill and create a fun, stress-free, and creative environment for dancers of all levels!
Michaela will be teaching both Hip Hop and Ballet, and we are so excited for this semester with her! 💜

Suzanne Bouffard teaches jazz for the Dance Club. As a student at Stonehill, Suzanne founded the original dance club which offered ballet, modern and jazz classes with just one teacher! Suzanne is a local dance teacher and loves working with dancers of all abilities! She loves teaching at her alma mater and, whether you’ve been dancing for 15 years or have never set foot on the dance floor, she promises a fun, stress-free and welcoming class to anyone who wants to join!
