We are so excited to announce our winter recital for this semester! Please join Dance Club on Sunday, December 4th for our two performances at 1 pm and 4 pm!

Tickets will be on sale the week following Thanksgiving break during lunch and dinner time. $5 for students and $10 for general admission!

Cash, check, or hillcard will be accepted, but cash and check only at the door on show day.

Last but certainly not least, meet our Modern teacher, Jeryl!

Jeryl Palana Pilapil-Brown, is a Filipino- American choreographer, dancer and educator in Boston. Jeryl has traveled throughout the states and abroad to Canada, London, Barcelona and Japan to perform, and immerse herself in various dance styles; the main ones being contemporary, floorwork, street styles and heels. Jeryl now dedicates her time sharing with students of all ages throughout New England, directing her own company and running .

We can't wait for you to meet her!

Meet our brand new Ballet teacher, Lisa!

Lisa is a graduate of Smith College with a degree in Dance/Choreography and Theater, as well as a veteran of the Boston Ballet and Harvard Summer School's intensive advanced ballet program and studio owner. Lisa believes strongly in teaching the proper technique of dance and keeping her students safe and encourages self-esteem to all.

We can't wait for you to meet her!

Meet our extremely dedicated Tap teacher, Terri!

Hello Stonehill College Dance Club! I'm Terri and I'll be teaching tap class this semester. I've been working with Dance Club for over 20 years and looking forward to seeing both old and new faces!

Today we are welcoming a brand-new teacher, Laura!

Laura has been teaching hip hop dance for over 10 years. She was a choreographer and member of the Northeastern University dance club and adult dance company DanceWorks Boston as well as an instructor at several studios for both competitive and recreational classes. She is very much looking forward to becoming a part of the Stonehill dance family!

Hi everyone! Today we will be introducing the BEST jazz teacher, Suzanne!

Suzanne Bouffard teaches jazz for the Dance Club. As a student at Stonehill, Suzanne founded the original dance club which offered ballet, modern and jazz classes with just one teacher!  Suzanne is a local dance teacher and loves working with dancers of all abilities!  She loves teaching at her alma mater and, whether you’ve been dancing for 15 years or have never set foot on the dance floor, she promises a fun, stress-free and welcoming class to anyone who wants to join!

First up, meet Cathy!

Cathy Calhoun Bosch studied lyrical with Suzi Taylor in NYC. She performed in the Big Apple Circus for a year as well as touring the states and abroad with ISO dance theater. We can't wait for you to try her lyrical classes!

eBoard pics in between shows yesterday! We are beyond proud of each dancer for such a successful show, the first spring show for most of the club! We hope to see everyone in the fall semester, and wish our seniors the best of luck in their bright futures ahead 💜 pictures from the show will be released soon, so keep an eye on your email inbox!

Our ballet teacher, Nydia, will be teaching a brand new Salsa workshop on Saturday, April 23rd from 12:00-2:00 PM! It will take place in the Dance Studio in the Sports Complex. Sign ups will begin next Saturday, April 16th. A google form will be posted in our bio and emailed to our members at exactly 12:00 PM next Saturday. The workshop is limited to 20 participants, so sign up as soon as you can! There is a $10 fee per person which you can give to an executive board member at the workshop. No experience is needed! Bring a friend or a significant other to try out a new style! A partner is not required, but it is definitely encouraged! Let us know if you have any questions!

We are so incredibly proud of all our amazing dancers for putting on our performance yesterday! For the first time in two years we were able to dance together again in person on the Hemingway stage and our dancers rocked it!
