Today we celebrated the life of Chloe Guerra at a touching memorial service in the EAMS courtyard. Thank you to everyone who came together to share stories and to mourn her loss. Chloe’s name was added to the plaque in our courtyard to serve as a permanent tribute to her life along with other EAMS students we have lost. All are gone, but not forgotten.

The PTA and Student Council are sponsoring the 7th Grade Field Day on Wednesday, May 28th. (Moved to Friday, May 30th) The day will consist of outdoor activities and a Dodgeball tournament. To make sure the students have a memorable experience, please help them come prepared with the following items for the day:
*Sunscreen
*White Shirt for Color Run (or extra shirt to change if wanted)
*Water Bottle
*Towel/blanket
*Extra pair of socks
*Tie-Dye items
*Neon items (glow bracelets, sweat bands, etc…) We will provide some but feel free to bring your own stuff.
Please encourage your student to apply sunscreen prior to coming to school on Wednesday, May 28th. (Friday, May 30th) They are more than welcome to bring extra sunscreen along if they need to reapply. Students may also want to bring a towel or small throw blanket to sit under the tree outside at some point in the day. Wet grass may cause students to need an extra pair of socks in the event their shoes get wet. We will have a tie-dye station as well and students must bring in their own items to tie-dye.

Now we can use a few more volunteers for the 7th grade field day that was moved to Friday, May 30th. If you have clearances on file with EASD and can help between the hours of 8:00am-1:30pm, please reach out. We had enough volunteers, but the new date has caused several volunteers to have to cancel and now we’re looking for some more helpers.

We could use a few more volunteers to help outside at the 8th grade field day on May 29th. If you have clearances already on file with EASD and you are interested in helping, please reach out. The time would be from 10:45-2:30.
