Lafayette College has earned the 2026 Pride of Easton Award—an award recognizing outstanding commitment to the region through generosity, leadership, and hands-on involvement in strengthening the Easton area community.
“Lafayette College is a true cornerstone, not only of the Easton area community but also of higher education on a national stage. For 200 years, the institution’s roots have remained deeply woven into the culture, identity, and continued growth of Easton,” says Caitlin Hamlin Myers, assistant vice president of Affiliated Chambers, Easton and Warren County Initiatives, Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Lafayette in Paris! 🇫🇷🐆
The College’s 200th anniversary was acknowledged in a special way this spring, when groups of faculty, staff, alumni, and students traveled to Paris to celebrate the Marquis de Lafayette and represent the College named for him.
Lafayette College loaned more than 50 artifacts to the National Archives of France for the exhibition Lafayette Between France and America: History and Legend, which explores the life, legacy, and public image of the Marquis de Lafayette.

A Lafayette summer tradition returns to the Quad. 🎬🍿
Lafayette College is inviting faculty, staff, students, and community members to join us for the annual outdoor film screening. The summer schedule will include:
• June 16 (Rain date June 18): How to Train Your Dragon (2025)
• July 14 (Rain date July 16): Zootopia 2 (2025)
• August 11 (Rain date Aug. 13): Superman (2025)
Events start at 7:30 p.m., with movies set to begin at 8 p.m.
