Today’s back-to-school event was a blast! Our 8th grade students came together for a leadership orientation, followed by a fun game of ‘Aqua Kickball!’ Then all students were invited to meet their teacher and see their classroom. New students were officially welcomed to Team Black or Team Gold! 🖤💛 We’re excited to officially ring in the new school year tomorrow!

This week, Dr. Ian Keller and Daphne Clyburn ’99 from the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning (CTTL) have been on campus working to launch a partnership with TCS that will amplify teaching excellence and support our teachers in incorporating the science of teaching into their classrooms through research-informed best practices.

Daphne, a TCS alum, was the Newell Blanton Scholar and Valedictorian for the Class of ’99!

We were thrilled to welcome them to the campus, and we're excited about this partnership and what it will bring to our faculty and students.

8th graders: Please arrive by 12:30 p.m.
All families: Drop in between 4:00–6:00 p.m. for students to meet their teacher or advisor and enjoy a refreshing treat from Kona Ice!

Our Country School Parents' Association is busy shopping for supplies for the upcoming school year. This is a big job, as all classroom supplies for TCS students are provided by the CSPA. They are fortunate to have help from a future Cougar from the Class of 2040! You're never to young to show your school spirit! 💛🩶

This crew conquered Mt. Sherman today, a 14,043-foot mountain (fourteener) located in the Mosquito Range of Colorado. Way to go, Cougars!!

Our Colorado crew is officially on the trail!

Over the weekend, two groups of TCS students set off for a week of hiking and exploring in the Rocky Mountains. These summer travel opportunities provide a chance for students to step outside their comfort zones, grow in confidence, and discover what they're capable of, all while having a lot of fun together.

We're excited to share updates from the trail throughout the week. Safe travels, Cougars! We're cheering you on from Easton! 💛🩶
