This past weekend, we traveled to Mount Olive High School for our second competition of the season. It was an incredible experience, and we’re proud to share that we won the Gracious Professionalism Award at this event.
Throughout the competition, we made it a priority to support others. One team arrived without many of the parts they needed for their robot, and whenever we had time, our members went over to help them rebuild and get back in the game. Moments like these truly reflect what our team stands for.
In addition to winning the Gracious Professionalism Award, we finished in ninth place overall and were selected as the sixth alliance. I couldn’t be more proud of everything this team accomplished.
A huge shoutout goes to our President, Martin, and our mentor, Mr. Hale, for their dedication and hard work in making sure they had a functioning robot by the end of the competition And of course, the energy and support from everyone cheering in the stands was absolutely amazing.
I’m so proud of everyone who attended this competition and of our team as a whole. Thank you so much to Mount Olive for hosting such a fantastic event, we had an unforgettable time!!
