🤝 Saving Sam! 🛟

Mrs. Glanden’s math classes worked together this week on a fun community-building activity called “Saving Sam”! 🧠🐛

Students had to think creatively, communicate, and work as a team to complete the challenge. Activities like this help build collaboration, problem-solving skills, and positive classroom relationships—all while having a little fun! 💚🖤

Friday Flight & Space fun with Mr. Jurrius! ✈️

Students took learning to a new height today! After exploring different airplane designs and how design impacts flight, they created their own paper airplane models to test out.

⬡✨ Making Connections in 6th Grade Science! ✨⬡

Mrs. Brohawn’s 6th grade Science students had a great time with Hexagonal Learning: Making Connections!

Students designed their own hexagons based on their interests, ideas, and things they have in common with one another. They then worked together to find connections and build their hexagons into larger webs of shared interests and ideas. 🧠🤝

A fun way to get to know classmates, discover connections, and start building a strong classroom community! 💚🖤🐾

🏠🐾 DAY 4: TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY! 💚🖤

The countdown is almost over, Panthers! Our 6th graders and new students have learned what the RCA House System is all about, discovered the values behind each house, and now there’s only ONE MORE SLEEP until they find out where they belong! 👀🎉

Tomorrow is HOUSE SORTING DAY! 🏠✨

Will you be a Rêveur dreamer?
Will you show your courage as Isibindi?
Will you build friendships in Amistad?
Or will you serve others as Altruismo?

No matter where you land, remember: you are joining a family, finding your people, and becoming part of something bigger than yourself.
