Beautiful day for our Chesapeake Forum field trip to Layton's Chance Vineyard near Vienna MD. Learning about managing a vineyard on the Eastern Shore was fascinating... As was the sipping!

What fun 16 of us had yesterday at Layton's Chance learning about the ins and outs of growing vines for wine in the heat, humidity, clay soil and mild winters of the Eastern Shore. We traipsed out to the vineyard, back to the barn where the magic happens, then sat down to enjoy sips of 8 best sellers along with snacks from charcuterie boards. Everyone left VERY happy!

We had a WONDERFUL time at our Fall Preview Party hosted by the Oxford Community Center! Just over 100 guests joined us for the perfect amount of social time and presenting of all the amazing programs the Forum is offering this Fall!
