As AI continues to evolve, our focus remains on preparing students to use these tools responsibly, thoughtfully, and effectively. AI has the potential to support learning, spark ideas, and help students refine their thinking, but it should never replace the thinking itself.

That work is already happening across our district, including in our Career Capstones, where students have opportunities to explore and use AI as a tool while solving real-world problems, developing projects, and building skills they will need in college, careers, and beyond.

We’re proud to have educators who are embracing new tools while making sure student thinking, creativity, and problem-solving remain at the center of learning.

The state of Ohio required all schools K-12 to implement an AI policy by July 1, 2026. The new policy is set to be a safe way to integrate the software into the classrooms, and help prevent cheating amongst students.

🔥🚒 It’s getting real!

Our new Fire & EMS program is coming to life, and the gear lockers are ready! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

In just a few days, our first group of students will walk through these doors and begin preparing for careers built around service, teamwork, leadership, and saving lives.

Every new piece of equipment makes us a little more excited to welcome our students and officially get this program underway.

Here’s a sneak peek of one of the newest additions to our upcoming Automation & Robotics program. This industry-grade equipment will give students hands-on experience with the same advanced technology used by manufacturers across Northeast Ohio and around the world.

We’re building more than a classroom. We’re creating opportunities for students to explore robotics, automation, advanced manufacturing, engineering, and high-demand careers right here in our district.
