We welcome Easthampton families who are interested in re-enrolling their students in Easthampton Public Schools to attend our Open Registration Info Night this Thursday 3/10 from 5-6pm at Mountain View School. If your Easthampton student is currently home-schooled or attends other area schools, and you're considering what Mountain View School (Grades K-8) has to offer, we welcome you to come get your questions answered!

Families with entering kindergarteners are invited to the Kindergarten Information & Registration open house from 3:30-5pm. Drop in to meet teachers and administrators and get information about what to expect in Kindergarten! Children are welcome to attend. Easthampton families with rising kindergarteners received an info packet in the mail.

Happening Tomorrow! Registration is still OPEN!

Easthampton Public Schools are developing a strategic plan and would like your input. We are going to host two public, town hall-style meetings, facilitated by our partners at Strategy Matters.

The first, will be held virtually on Friday, February 18th at 11:30 am. You can access this public meeting link by registering for the event here: http://ow.ly/FZzS50HXRs4

The second, will be held as a hybrid event both virtually and at Easthampton’s new Mountain View School with limited seat capacity on Monday, February 28th at 7:00 pm. Registration links for this hybrid event can be found in the comments below.

Over the last several months, the consulting team has hosted interviews, focus groups, and a community survey to understand community perceptions of EPS, what the district does well, and where there is need for improvement. During the town hall meeting, the consulting team will share what they have learned and ask for your thoughts. We would love to hear more about your experiences with EPS, and your thoughts about what you'd like for the district to focus on in the coming years.

This is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and create a shared vision for the future of education in our city. We hope to see you there!

All Easthampton Public Schools will have a 2 hour delayed start time today, February 8, 2022 due to icy conditions. School busses will run 2 hours later than usual this morning.

TOMORROW! Middle school students are invited to a "Winter Walk to School & Hot Chocolate" event Wednesday, Feb 2. Meet at the Safety Complex between 7:15-7:30am, enjoy a hot chocolate and walk to Mountain View School together!

We will walk to school via the bike path and Park St. This route will highlight the proposed grant project through Safe Routes to School which the City has applied for to make accessing our school safer and easier for students and families.
