When I suddenly lost my wife, I began walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain as it was something I had always thought we would do together after raising our family. Last year my son, Matteo joined me on the journey and walking has proved to be therapeutic and a magical way to connect and remember her. When I saw this walk for the Food Bank, it seemed perfect for us to do in her name since Paula always had a heart for a good cause and helping the less fortunate. Not only will we remember her, but we will do good things in her name. Support Matteo and me as we take on this new "Camino"

MIRACLES CAN HAPPEN. 15 years ago, Paula and I started our home stay program with just 6 kids. We were living in Spain, recently married. I was in the US trying to find our last host family. Paula, was in Spain getting ready to fly over with the small group and had just found out she was pregnant with Lia. I was able to find the last host family the NIGHT BEFORE the trip. I called her and shouted "We have a family!!" She thought to herself, so do you!! Let's do it. One more host family for 15 yr old girl!
