Adventures in Chinese

Many families have contacted me asking where other Adventures in Chinese families will be spending their summer this year. What camp will your children be spending the summer now?

As many of you may already know... with our upcoming family move, Adventures in Chinese will not run this summer. It has been an amazing adventure and we thank all the families who joined us these last three summers.

We spent the morning on a nature hike. Each group created their own scavenger hunt check list, exploring items in nature. The list mixed characters, english, and pictures. Our campers were very good at spotting nature big and small.

Yesterday, the Frogs screenprinted their own t-shirts after creating their design.

On Friday the Panda's created their own restaurant... see some photos in the album section.

Enjoy working with our kids a great deal but sad they are leaving soon......

It's raining here, which means Hide and Seek! Our fav indoor rainy day game!

The Dragons learned vegatable vocab and visited the Williston vegatable garden. The Pandas learned an animal song and food vocab, plus they made their on Chinese Brush Paintings. The Frogs learned about Cicada and went on a cicada hunt. They also made soap and watered the vegatable garden.

Today has been a busy day! Everyone learned a Peddler Drummer Dance and a Bamboo Dance/game.

It's been a busy week... too little time to post.

Today is our first day of Second session. It was full of fun, games and Chinese!
