Dr. Blatz is James Madison University's Coordinator of Special Education K-12 program and Advisor to students in the Special Education Program along with first-year students in the Educational Foundations and Exceptionalities Department (EFEX). Dr. Blatz has worked at James Madison University for 16 years. She was a special education teacher in public schools for 15 years. During this time she taught at the high school, middle school, and elementary school levels.
The EFEX Program is committed to the preparation of educators and others who teach and serve individuals with exceptionalities and their families.
