East Windsor Public Schools has officially moved to ParentSquare as our primary communication tool!

We know how busy family life gets, and we are committed to making sure staying up to date with your child's education is simple, direct, and accessible.

What is ParentSquare?

ParentSquare connects parents and guardians directly with teachers, staff, and district administrators all in one secure, convenient place. You can receive messages via email, text, or through the mobile app, and even set your notification preferences to fit your schedule.

What You Need to Do:

Exciting News for Preschool Families!

Mark your calendars! The first day of school for our preschool students is this Thursday, September 3rd. We can't wait to welcome your little learners for a fantastic year of growth, play, and discovery!

Happy First Day of School, East Windsor! We hope all of our students, teachers, and staff have an incredible day settling into their classrooms.

We also have an extra special welcome to extend today! Join us in welcoming Officer Ryan Beturne from the East Windsor, CT Police Department, who is stepping into the role of our new School Resource Officer (SRO).

Officer Beturne is excited to be serving our school community, building positive relationships with our students, and keeping our schools safe every day. If you see him out and about be sure to wave or say hello!

Tomorrow is the big day! We can't wait to welcome our kindergarten through grade 12 students back for the start of the 2026-2027 school year!

Our faculty and staff returned earlier this week and officially kicked off the year with our annual convocation. Over the past three days, our team has been hard at work in professional development sessions, prepping classrooms, and getting everything ready for a fun, exciting, and inspiring year of learning.

Biscuit is getting ready for the first day of school! BBES is holding TWO back to school events tomorrow:

A PreK and Kindergarten Practice Bus Run from 3 to 4 PM
A Kindergarten Parent Information Night from 4 to 5 PM

Both events are being held at:
Broad Brook Elementary School
14 Rye Street
Broad Brook, CT

As a reminder, the first day of school for Kindergarten through 12th Grade is this Thursday, August 27th! We can't wait to welcome back all of our students!

New to EWPS? To guarantee your child starts school on time, all forms and required supporting documents must be submitted by this Friday, August 21st. Incomplete forms or missing documentation may delay your child's start date.

Believe it or not, the first day of school is less than two weeks away! We are so excited to welcome our students back and kick off another amazing year together.

Behind the scenes, our incredible team has been hard at work getting everything ready. Our custodial crew has been making the halls and classrooms shine! Our administrative staff has been organizing schedules, prepping files, and keeping everything running smoothly!

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard over the summer to make sure we’re ready for day one.
