Where are my caique people?! 🙋‍♀️🐸

We’ve got two Black-Headed Caiques ready to take over your life — in the best and most chaotic way possible. These little feathered comedians are funny, playful, snack-obsessed, and true to their species... delightfully bipolar gremlins. 😆

They love to play, they love to snack, and they love to bite if you’re not their person (we like to call it “expressive affection”). They get along with each other but do much better when they have their own cage and favorite human to focus on. 💚

If you’re experienced with caiques and up for a relationship filled with laughter, mischief, and the occasional band-aid, we’d love to hear from you!

If you already have parrots, they must be disease tested (Psittacosis, PBFD & Pacheco’s)

A home visit and follow-ups are part of the process — we’re all about making sure it’s the right fit for both bird and human!

Looking for Interest

Beatrice bird, affectionately known as BB, is wishing she had more companionship. She used to have more freedom but recently has been caged more hours of the day and I know it is hurting her.

She is a 13 year old Amazon Parrot with attitude. I have not seen her be gender biased with humans but she occasionally will flirt heavily with men. She has been my bird the four years I have had her. I recently divorced so my full-time work schedule has been affecting her.

If you are looking for a friend and constant company, send me a message and I will tell you all about her. I do expect a fair rehoming fee but she is worth it and has many years left.

We have a new Quaker Parrot looking for patient, loving home! This green cutie is hand tamed and tries to talk! She/He is curious, observant, and full of personality .

🧠 About Quakers:
Also known as Monk Parakeets, Quakers are intelligent, social, and often pick up human words and sounds when properly bonded. They’re also famous for their unique ability to build elaborate, multi-room stick nests—an architectural talent rare in the parrot world!

While this one is on a seed diet we are working to get Perla switched to pellets.

If you have submitted an adoption form for Blu, we can help you look at other birds available for adoption. Our volunteers are working hard to contact everyone as quickly as possible. Meet the sweetest little quaker you might ever meet! This is Blu. He is a 10-year-old blue monk parakeet with the personality of a golden retriever. This little man loves to just sit on your shoulder and get head scratches. As is normal for quakers, he can be a bit nippy in his cage, but once away from his cage, his temperament totally mellows into a complete love bug. Do you have room in your heart and home for this little blue bug?
