Eastmont Junior High is experiencing an electrical issue that has caused a power outage, related to a fire panel. The fire department is on site and assessing the situation. In an abundance of caution, SCHOOL IS CANCELLED FOR TODAY to ensure student and staff safety. This includes 9th graders who attend EHS 1st period. Updates will be sent as we receive information.

6th grade Jumpstart and Opportunities Program are also cancelled.

Certificated Staff are reporting to the District Office for a PLC planning day.
Classified Staff will be supporting Elementary Schools on the first day of school.
