Eastmont Academy is a relatively new program offered through the Eastmont School District that provides additional educational choices to Eastmont families. Through EA, students will receive weekly instruction through ALE courses. A certificated teacher provides weekly instruction as well as weekly lesson plans, review of assignments, progress monitoring, and/or other learning activities. As part
of the program, a Written Student Learning Plan (WSLP) is developed with the student’s needs as the basis. Its purpose is to serve as the weekly instructional and resource guide for students & their parent(s)/guardian(s). The ultimate goal is to provide individualized, flexible, and customized educational opportunities for students so they can achieve grade-level standards while having an enjoyable and successful school year.
