July 6-10, August 3-7: Classic Rock ($499) -- A condensed version of our Little Band/Band programs, with campers learning to perform classic songs over the week, exploring music history and innovation through discussion and games. Culminates with a performance for friends and family. Camp runs from 9AM-3PM.

July 20-24: Songwriting ($499) -- Write your own music, lyrics, and put it all together with a band! Explore techniques to maximize self-expression and unlock your creative genius, learning about recording and audio engineering along the way. Culminates with a performance and recording of at least one original song. Camp runs from 9AM-3PM.

August 17-21: 1990s ($499) -- Play music from the likes of Green Day, Nirvana, No Doubt, and more! Learn about the impact of grunge and alternative music invading the mainstream and changing the landscape of popular music forever. Culminates with a performance for friends and family. Camp runs from 9AM-3PM.

August 24-26: Guitar Pedal Building ($375) -- Build your very own guitar pedal from start to finish! Students will receive a kit and be taught how to use a soldering iron, read a schematic, troubleshoot, operate a multimeter, and build a basic understanding of electronic components and how they function in musical equipment, plus your very own pedal to take home and use. Camp runs from 11AM-3PM.

What a day we had yesterday! Thanks so much to for hosting, to our performers for all their hard work all season, and to our audience members for their gracious support. Sometimes these things go off without a hitch. Other times the kick pedal breaks halfway through the day and, while runs out to buy a new one 20 minutes away, you sit criss-cross applesauce behind the kit and play half a set of kick drum by hand, the way the pioneers used to (that's a joke, nobody does that...well, except Trilok Gurtu, because he grew up in India without a TV and didn't even know kick drums had pedals [he's crazy good too, look him up]). The show must go on, right? Definitely a memorable one for the ages with unbelievable talent on display all day long. See you at the next one!

More congratulations are in order! This time to Ryan and Andrew who both have received scholarships to attend 's Aspire: Five Week summer program. We're beyond proud of both of them for this prestigious honor!

Band Together is now 3 for 3 on Berklee Five Week scholarships, and 2 for 2 on Berklee undergrad admissions. Who's gonna be next???
