Adventure, connection and a little bravery made for a wonderful day at Blue Lotus Center! 🌿

Our Learners and Participants fished, kayaked, pedal-boated, rode bikes, walked the trails, explored nature and tried new things together.

One Learner who has visited Blue Lotus for years found the bravery to go out on the water in a pedal boat for the first time. He loved it! Later, he proudly told his mom, “I was scared but it was okay.”

That’s what growth can look like—feeling nervous, finding your courage, trying something new and discovering, I can do this.

We saw fish and turtles, spotted a snake along the trail, worked together and had SO much fun!

We’re grateful to Blue Lotus for creating inclusive opportunities for our group to connect with nature, build confidence and bloom.

Welcome to Bloom360, Elizabeth!

We're excited to welcome Elizabeth, a Psychology and Pre-Occupational Therapy student at Carroll University, to Bloom360 for a 15-week internship!

During her time with us, Elizabeth is gaining hands-on experience working with our Day School Learners and learning more about adapting support to meet different developmental needs.

Elizabeth will graduate from Carroll University in May 2027 and plans to continue her education with a Master's in Occupational Therapy.

When big emotions and sensory challenges take over, slowing down and becoming a curious observer can help us understand what that behavior is communicating so that we can better support that individual.

Join Bloom360 for an engaging, interactive workshop where you’ll explore sensory processing, what may be happening beneath the surface, and practical strategies for responding with greater intention.

We're grateful to the We Energies Foundation for a generous grant supporting supplies for Bloom360's Makerspace. 🎨 These new materials will give Learners opportunities to create, experiment, and bring their ideas to life through hands-on projects. A well-equipped Makerspace encourages curiosity, builds confidence, and gives Learners the freedom to explore their unique strengths and interests.
