Welcome, New Educators!
It's been a busy and exciting week as we welcomed our newest educators to East Troy! Our New Teacher Inservice has been filled with learning, connecting, and preparing for the year ahead! Our new teachers had the opportunity to collaborate, connect with mentors, participate in team-building activities, and learn more about our schools and community partnerships.

We are excited to welcome them to our team!

Let’s celebrate past, present and future members of East Troy High School Football🧓👨👦👶 🏈

Youth football players wearing their jersey attend for free!
•Youth players will be announced and run the field with the high school players BEFORE the game. Meet by the concession stand at 6:30pm!!

Football players & cheerleaders from the sixes classes of 2016, 2006, 1996, 1986, 1976, 1966, and 1956 attend the game for free!
•Upon arrival, all alumni should check in at the registration table near the entrance to the bleachers.
•Alumni will be honored at half time. Meet by the concession stand with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter!

🌱🎭 It's Time to Feed the Plant! 🎭🌱

The East Troy Drama Club is excited to announce auditions for our Fall Musical, Little Shop of Horrors!

Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, we invite all East Troy High School students to audition for this beloved musical comedy filled with unforgettable characters, incredible music, and one very unusual plant.

No previous experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm, willingness to work hard, and a love for storytelling.

Please join us in celebrating our military families and area veterans at this free event on August 19th at 6:30 pm at the IGET Community Center! Music will be provided by Fortzando, an a capella singing group from Fort Atkinson, who will perform patriotic and Americana tunes as a musical salute to our military families and vets. Our special guest will be Shelley Joan Weiss, the Wisconsin Commissioner for the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunities for Military Children. 🚌 Try a Bus Event: Join us TOMORROW 🛣️✨

Curious about what it’s like to sit behind the wheel of a school bus, but not sure where to start? We want to help you remove the "fear factor"! The **East Troy Community School District** is hosting a hands-on, pressure-free event to show you exactly what being a school bus driver is all about.

Come test drive a bus, ask questions, and see if this rewarding role is the perfect fit for you!

📅 Event Details:

Date: Monday, August 3, 2026
Time: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: East Troy High School Parking Lot

Take a supervised test ride in a controlled setting, chat with our amazing bus drivers and transportation staff, and get real answers about training, routes, and day-to-day life on the road.

💼 Why Join the East Troy Transportation Team?

Being a part-time school bus driver is a highly flexible, meaningful way to serve our students and community. It’s an especially great opportunity for parents of young children, who are often able to have their kids ride along on their routes!

💰 Great Pay: $36.45 per route

📈 Hiring Bonus: $750–$1,000 sign-on bonus

🎓 Paid Training: We provide paid CDL training at $24.30/hour!

🌟 Attendance Incentives: Up to $150/year

🎖️ End-of-Year Longevity Bonus: $500

✈️ Extra Hours: Additional paid opportunities for field trips and athletic charters

*Note: All participants interested in driving must be at least 21 years of age and bring a valid driver's license to the event.*

💥 Mad Scientists on a Roll! 🎢🔬

Our Summer School Mad Scientists worked hard turning potential energy into kinetic fun!

Our creative young engineers put their physics and design skills to the test by building their very own marble roller coasters. From loops and steep drops to twists and turns, they had to prototype, test, and problem-solve to make sure their marbles made it safely to the end of the track! 🧠✨
