We believe that young children learn through play and socialization, not a structured school like learning environment. However, we do believe it is important for children to have early learning prior to entering school, therefore we spend our days learning through play, artwork, songs, and books. We will learn our names, our ABC’s, many songs and some basic handwriting skills. Cutting with scisso

rs may take place, but at an appropriate age. Your child will not be pushed to do anything he/she is not comfortable with or capable of doing. All children learn at their own pace and their own way. Early learning should be an enjoyable experience to help ensure a lifelong love of learning. The children learn best through play
• When a child is balancing large blocks on top of another he or she is learning to control and coordination.
• When a child completes a puzzle he or she is learning study habits and self-esteem. When a child plays beside other children this is developing their social skills
• When we read to your child they learn to love books, remember details, and express ideas this will help the child with language development.
• When a child helps set the table for a family style mean or helps prepare the meal he or she is learning to take pride in their accomplishments (self-esteem)
We often act silly, dance, and play alongside your child.
