Stroudsburg Chess Club The Best Place to Play and Learn Chess in the Poconos! We also hold weekly online events on lichess.org on Thursday nights from 7pm-9pm.

If you are looking for a fun and supportive place to play and improve your chess in the Poconos, then there is no better place than the Stroudsburg Chess Club! We are located at the Loder Senior Center building in East Stroudsburg, PA and offer casual club play every Tuesday night from 7pm - 9pm. All ages and skill levels from beginner to experts are encouraged to come out and play!

Unsure of what to expect ?
An average game is around ~20 minutes total.
You're welcome to suggest blitz time controls or variants , many members play those too.
At the club, we've played duck chess , 960, crazy house , and even made up some ones based on who we were playing. 😁Generally, we assume, you would like your first game to be​ standard chess unless you say otherwise. Have other questions? Let me know.
