24th WMHS Art show this Wednesday I. The library.

We are loving these pet portraits of teacher’s pets created by students in the Ward Melville chapter of National Art Honor Society! These were given to teachers in honor of Teacher Appreciation. Thank you Mrs. Caggiano for sharing.

The attention to detail! This stunning library was designed and built, including making each book that is on the shelves, by Isabella Rowett in Ms. Baum’s Advanced Interior Design class.

And just like that, 10 days of magic brining art history to life is over. What a magical trip.

Day 1 of Paris. Muses Orsay, roaming Paris, Notre Dame.

Artist in Rome.

Artists of Italy and France. Ward Melville HS students spend time in Rome exploring art history, experiencing the culture, visiting the Vatican, the Coliseum, The Roman Forum, The Pantheon, The Borghese Gardens, The Borghese Gallery, and so much more.

In 3 days we have learned so much, took an art class, and bonded over gelato. Tomorrow we leave for Florence.

The art staff at Ward Melville is super excited to have 9th-grade at the HS next year! We have some amazing art classes. Did you know that it’s possible to graduated from Ward Melville with 12 credits in art from LIU Post??
