🌎🚨 Shake, Rattle & Roll! Earthquake Preparedness Day at Unity! 🚨🌎
Unity Lutheran Christian Elementary School participated in Shake, Rattle & Roll Earthquake Preparedness Day on Thursday October 15, 2026 by practicing an earthquake drill at school! 🏫💪🏽 Our students and staff took time to learn and practice important safety procedures to help us know what to do in the event of an earthquake.

Preparedness is important, and practicing these drills helps our students feel more confident and ready to respond in an emergency. We are proud of our students for participating and taking earthquake safety seriously! 👏🏽❤️
At Unity, we believe in keeping our students safe while helping them learn valuable life skills! 🙏🏽📚

✨ Chapel at Unity Lutheran Christian Elementary School! ✨On Wednesday, October 14, Mr. Fick led our chapel service as we learned about the Bible story of Joshua and the Wall of Jericho! 📖🙏🏽 The students learned how Joshua trusted and obeyed God, and how God showed His mighty power by bringing down the walls of Jericho. This story reminds us that when we trust God, follow His instructions, and have faith, amazing things can happen!

🎨 Preschool Arts & Crafts! 🖍️
Our preschool students also enjoyed an arts and crafts activity that went along with our Bible story of the week! Through creativity and hands-on learning, they were able to connect with the story of Joshua and the Wall of Jericho in a fun and meaningful way.

📚⛺ Our 7th grade students have been digging into the book Holes by Louis Sachar! As part of their novel study, students brought the story to life by creating individual projects that emulated Camp Green Lake, the camp where the characters were sent and forced to dig holes.

Through creativity, imagination, and hard work, our students were able to step into the world of Holes and show their understanding of the setting and events in the story. What a fun and engaging way to connect reading with hands-on learning! We are so proud of their creativity and the effort they put into their projects! 💛📖

🎉 Student Council Election at Unity Christian Elementary School! 🎉We are excited to announce that Unity Christian Elementary School has started a Student Council! This has been a wonderful opportunity for our students to step up, show leadership, and make their voices heard. ❤️💙

Students in 6th–8th grade had the opportunity to run for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian. Our students worked hard creating campaign posters, preparing speeches, and sharing their ideas with their classmates. They truly stepped up and showed courage, confidence, and leadership throughout the election process!🎊 Congratulations to all of our students who ran for office. Win or lose, every student who stepped forward should be proud of themselves for taking a chance, using their voice, and being willing to serve their school community.

We are so proud of our students and look forward to seeing what our new Unity Christian Elementary Student Council will accomplish this year! 🌟Congratulations to all of our candidates and newly elected Student Council members! 👏🎉
