Hello ER ‘86 Classmates,

The reunion committee has been hard at work personally reaching out to everyone for our amazing 40th reunion weekend , and the response so far has been fantastic!

We have reached out by telephone, email, text, snail mail and Facebook to help ensure we connect with as many people as possible.

Out of our 114 living classmates, we’re thrilled to report that:

• 84 have already paid and/or confirmed they’re coming. We still have a small group we’re working on:
• 21 we haven’t gotten a response from yet or are still trying to locate
• 4 who are unlikely due to work or travel conflicts
• 5 firm regrets (weddings, out of the country, etc.)

To make sure we reach everyone, we’ve divided the class alphabetically among the committee:

We’re closing in on the remaining 21 MIA classmates and working hard to track them down. We’re making every effort to personally speak with all 21 by phone, mainly becuase the ones who are hardest to find often have the best stories to share. We’re excited to bring as many people as possible to our special 40th reunion!

If you haven’t heard from your assigned committee member yet or haven’t responded, please reach out to us on Facebook or reply to this message. We’d love to hear from you.

Also, if you know of any classmates who didn’t graduate with us because they moved away prior to graduation, please send us their names and any contact information you have. We’d be happy to invite them as well. We have some blasts from the past we’ve been in touch with who moved from ERHS prior to us graduating (ex. Diane Plantania and Denise Goodman we are hoping to join us amongst others). Feel free to fire out and suggest some names in the comments and we promise we will do our best efforts to track them down.

We can’t wait to celebrate together during Columbus Day weekend — it’s going to be a wonderful time catching up with old friends!

🎩 A Magical Mystery Reunion: ER Class of 1986, Spouses/Partners & Teachers

Join the ER Class of ‘86 and our beloved teachers for an unforgettable evening of magic, music, and memories — forty years in the making!

Festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. at ArtisanWorks, Rochester’s most eclectic and imaginative venue — the perfect setting for a night of nostalgia and wonder. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert, and an open bar, with spouses and partners warmly welcome to share in the celebration.

Throughout the evening, delight in fortune tellers, palm readers, caricature artists, acrobats, a lively DJ, pianist, a whimsical photo booth, prizes and surprise entertainment to keep the magic alive. The night’s highlight is a 60-minute variety show featuring classmates performing music, comedy, trivia, and heartfelt dedications — all unfolding under one big top of friendship and fun.

Tickets for classmates and spouses/partners are $86 per person, while all entertainment and teacher admissions have been sponsored by generous donations from the Reunion Committee. Ticket prices are substantially subsidized for Classmates and hardship funds are available.
