Good morning,

Don't feel like cooking tonight or just want a treat for lunch? Come support Riverside Middle School by visiting Taconeando. 15% of all purchases are donated back to RMS and our Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) !!

The October restaurant night will be held on Tuesday, 10/22 at Taconeando Mexican Style located at 181 Willett Ave. The restaurant will be donating 15% of all sales for the entire day. They are open from 10 am to 9 pm. Please mention Riverside Middle School when ordering.

The community is invited to come out and support our middle school boys and girls soccer teams as they face off against each other for the Mayor’s Cup.

Come cheer on the Riverside Middle School and Edward R. Martin Middle School student athletes as they play on the East Providence High School field where many will be vying to play in the future.

On Thursday afternoon, students at Martin Middle School alerted administration to an image threatening school violence. The initials mms were included in the screenshot. It was determined this was an old image and did not refer to Martin or any East Providence School. After discussions with the East Providence Police, they increased police presence to reassure students and families.

Today, several students expressed concerns about our school. No images or specific information has been found to support these rumors. Again, after discussion with East Providence Police, we will have an increased police presence on Monday to reassure our students and families that school is safe.

Student and staff safety is always our first priority. We wanted to alert families that these rumors were taking place and we were aware, but that no specific or credible threat has been made. Please reach out if you have any questions.
