Covenant Cooperative Nursery School is an integral ministry of Riverside Covenant Church, serving families of the neighboring communities. We are an established school with a curriculum that is drawn from the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards. Our focus is to meet the needs of the developing child in each of the following learning areas: physical health and development, social

and emotional development, language development, literacy, cognitive development, mathematics, science, social studies, creativity and spiritual development. In our safe and secure environment, all children are encouraged, challenged and enriched through their response to the thoughtfully planned curriculum.

The beautiful weather is bringing all sorts of wonders to our playground!

Our preschoolers got their hands dirty looking for butterflies, caterpillars and worms🐛🐜🪱

Our teachers and students were blessed to spend these last few weeks caring for and watching eggs hatch into chicks! They have recently been returned to Historic New England's Casey Farm, and we are so happy we got to experience this again!

Such a sweet and special day in our classroom 🐶💛

We had a visit from Miss Amy, who taught us about caring for dogs through pretend vet play! We learned how important it is to always ask before petting, and practiced being gentle and kind

The kids loved pretending to be puppies, caring for our stuffed animals in our vet clinic, and building a cozy little “castle” for one of our dogs 🐾

Moments like these are hands-on, meaningful, and full of joy, which is what makes learning so special ✨
