The Kent Heights Best Buddies End of Year Event- Celebration of Colors. The Best Buddies rotated through centers: listening to the story, The Color of Us, tug of war while engulfed with bubbles and making sand art. The grand finale was a color immersion to celebrate diversity, friendship, inclusion, unity and acceptance. The presence of Iron Man symbolizes the heroism these students possess as they continue to make this world more inclusive.
Kent Heights Field Day is an event that is celebrated by the entire community; students, faculty, staff and parents. Mrs. Pinhancos spent endless hours planning and coordinating a full day entire school field day that was filled with fun and engaging games and activities. Thank you to all who volunteered to make this event a huge success!

Reading Week at Kent Heights is a week filled with fun activities, guest readers, and a family night!

We look forward to walking for inclusion with you this Saturday! Come celebrate with us and our friends from all across Rhode Island including our partners at PLAN, WaterFire, the Providence Bruins, Festival Ballet Providence, DJ Ray, and more!
Parking: Please park in the Wardlaw lot or Anderson lot. Wardlaw lot can be accessed from the street (address above) and is the closest to the track. Anderson lot can be accessed from the main entrance (212 Huxley Avenue, Providence, RI 02908) and is a short walk to the track. Look for Best Buddies signage and staff to direct you to the Walk Zone!
Street parking is also available in the neighborhood directly surrounding the track. Please comply with all posted curb use signs. Do not park your vehicle in a No Parking zone, or a zone dedicated to another use, like handicap parking, commercial or passenger loading, or bus stops. Best Buddies is not responsible for any misparked, ticketed, or towed cars.
Handicap Parking Info: Both lots have handicap accessible parking spots.

Lessons in life 101:
Even though we experienced technology issues last night during the Kent Heights Best Buddies Movie Night, the greatest take aways were patience, understanding, compassion, friendship, and kindness. The Best Buddies persevered and as you can tell by these pictures, the smiles are contagious.
Random Acts of Kindness Day is celebrated everyday by the Kent Heights Best Buddies. Thank you to parent, Mrs. Cardoso for your amazing idea to have the Best Buddies spread kindness with handwritten notes to each other. And what better way to end the meeting with a fun Playworks game called Beans on Toast….
