“Is this one of those teacher things?” Yup.

Teachers had fun dressing up this week behind students’ backs 😉 Monochrome Monday, Tropical Tuesday, Wildcat Wednesday, Secret Agent Thursday, and Zoom Friday!

What day did you catch on?

It was a big week for celebrating attendance at Martin!
On Wednesday, 6th grade learned they won the September attendance challenge (beating 8th grade’s stats by 0.1%!!), on Thursday, all students received their perfect attendance bracelets, and today we not only celebrated 6th grade with their free popcorn party, but all students who took part in the homeroom slideshow challenge had the chance to earn a free cookie coupon!

Thanks to our students for showing up and we’ll see you all again on Monday for picture day! Dress your best!

A HUGE happy birthday to one of the hardest working people at MMS (and possibly the world) … SUPER JOE!

Joe works hard to keep our building clean and working nonstop. He not only takes immense pride in his work, but he also takes pride in building relationships with students. He asks them about their days, can tell you who plays what sport, and enjoys making connections with them.

A big thank you to Joe for all he does and we hope he has the best birthday!

Thank you to our parents/staff who have already stepped up to volunteer for our PTA this year!

Interested in figuring out how you can join? Check out the PTA table during Meet the Teacher's night on 9/24 to see how you can get involved and make a difference!

Our school thrives when parents, teachers, and community members work together.
Here are some ways you can help:

Join the PTA: Becoming a member helps fund school events, classroom resources, and student activities.
Attend Our Meetings: Stay updated on school news and share your ideas.
Volunteer: Whether you have one hour or several, your time makes a huge impact!

Together, we can make this school year extraordinary for our Wildcat community!

Classroom Spotlight!!

While walking around the building, Mr. McCarthy caught Ms. Britt’s class doing some hands-on learning in 8th grade science today! This engineering lesson focuses on engineering principles like mapping out their design, putting plans into action, adapting on the fly, and working with others!
